Rural Riches Treasure Trove Association offers 18.5% of each week’s gross earnings to not-for-profit organizations and groups that offer a service to the community at large and can provide four volunteers to assist with one weekly count. Does your organization or group qualify?
Local organizations must serve a community within Lunenburg County.
Applicants are able to participate two times per year.
Once an application has been accepted and a date agreed upon, four volunteers (aged 16 and over) must be available on a Wednesday afternoon from 1-4 p.m.
The Rural Riches Treasure Trove Association committee will respond to applications within 30 days of receiving them.
The Rural Riches Treasure Trove Association has sole discretion when selecting the organization/group for Community Riches.
The Rural Riches Treasure Trove Association reserves the right to use your organization in print publications, online, website, social media and other forms of communications deemed appropriate by the Board.
Rural Riches Treasure Trove Association will not consider funding:
Organizations that do not serve a community within Lunenburg County.
Individual medical issues, sponsorship or crisis;
School trip activities and fundraising;
A government operated, public sector organization/institution (i.e. schools, primary healthcare facilities)
A religious/spiritual entity.
